You have got to be kidding me...

I remember my dad telling me about a doco he'd seen where the guys who actually shoot these pictures - or, set them up at least - were talking about the people who narrate them. When you see the narrator in a hole in the ground, describing in hushed tones how he's "watching the amazing vole as it burrows in to the winter ground", he's not watching that at all. He's come in, been filmed in the dirt, and gone back home.

Meanwhile, a cameraman has sat in the freezing woods for fourteen days days waiting for the vole to burrow its little nest.

This is an amazing video, and we all love Attenborough, but spare a thought for the cameramen who actually made this possible.
